CHEFS!

Bob Sugar is the newest kid on the block in the beautiful beach town of Torquay, the gateway to the Great Ocean Road. 

We deliver a dream combo of curated Asian feeds with fresh cocktails located directly across from the beach, hitting all the Melbourne restaurant trends in the perfect coastal setting.

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team and share in the experience as we continue to build one of the best restaurants in town.

About You

You will have experience in running kitchens, ordering, and assisting the Head Chef in day to day procedures in a busy kitchen.

To be successful, you need to bring to the table:

·       A minimum of 2 years working in a busy kitchen environment

·       Completed Chef Apprenticeship

·       The ability to work well autonomously or within a team

·       All applicable industry equivalent food handling certificates

·       Demonstrated experience with keeping track of all kitchen safety requirements

·       Hands-on expertise with cost control such as calculating wage percentages and cost of goods sold (COGS)
